Event Details

The aim of this practice is to use martial arts to build physical and mental well-being for all ages. The forms of martial arts that will be introduced are Judo, Ju Jutsu, Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Taiji. The investment is $15 per session or $50 for a 4-pass pack. Held on Wednesdays at 7 PM for 1.5-2 hours. Sign-up for the first martial arts practice here:

Practices are led by Chris Dewey, who has been training in martial arts since 1969 and currently holds 7th degree black belt in Ju Jutsu, 6th degree black belt in Judo, 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo, and 3rd degree black belt in Hapkido. Keileigh YeendKeileigh was first drawn to Yoga for the physical aspects, but soon found the spiritual, emotional, and mental sides were what benefited her most. As a Social Worker, Keileigh is dedicated to giving and wanted to learn more about how Yoga can transform, so she earned her 200 hour certificate from Dharma in March 2018. She is currently pursuing her 500 hour certificate through Cambio Yoga. Keileigh takes a spiritual and physical approach to her practice by using breath and movement to move energy throughout the body. She has found that mindfulness in connecting breath and body can be carried throughout many activities and life changes we encounter. Keileigh’s classes are a mixed approach of Mental, Physical, Spiritual and Emotional Wellbeing. Her goal is to help you find your own “ah ha” moments and go throughout your day being the best version of yourself.
